Window Cost Guide (windowscost.site) is committed to making our window cost guides usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies.

What we aim for

We design and test the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical target. Measures in place include:

Keyboard-navigable menus, estimator tool, and FAQ sections with visible focus indicators.
Descriptive alt text on article images and meaningful link text.
Color contrast that meets WCAG AA for body text.
Support for the prefers-reduced-motion setting, which disables smooth scrolling and decorative motion.
Touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels on key controls.

Known limitations

Some older embedded content or third-party scripts (for example, the cookie consent banner) may not fully meet every WCAG criterion. We review new templates and tools for accessibility before publishing.
